Helix launched in 2015 with a different idea about the bed-in-a-box: rather than sell one universal mattress and hope it works for everyone, it would design a range of feels and match each shopper to the right one. An online Sleep Quiz asks about your sleep position, body type, and feel preferences, then recommends a specific model.
Every Helix is a foam-over-pocketed-coil hybrid, but the comfort layers and firmness change by model — the medium Midnight for side and combination sleepers, the supportive Dusk for back sleepers, the plush Sunset, the firm Dawn and Twilight, and the plus-size Helix Plus. All are made in the USA with CertiPUR-US certified foams.
The line later expanded into the premium Luxe collection, which adds zoned lumbar support, a quilted pillow top, and a breathable Tencel cover, and the higher-end Elite tier. Helix Sleep also created the natural-and-organic sister brand Birch. Every Helix mattress ships with a 100-night sleep trial and a limited lifetime warranty.
